Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church
About Us
We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, a
Bible-believing, confessional, and evangelical Reformed
denomination founded in 1973. As a church, we strive to be,
"faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and
obedient to the Great Commission of Jesus Christ." We invite you
to learn more about our faith and our mission.
Our purpose can be summarized by the statement: "... to exalt
the Lord Jesus Christ and make Him beautiful and glorious in the
eyes of men and to promote the increase of repentance, faith,
and holiness upon earth." J.C.Ryle

Pastor
Henry Fernandez is a native of Tampa, Florida, the child of Cuban
immigrants. Fernandez graduated from Clearwater Christian College,
Clearwater, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible, and from the
Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson, Mississippi, with a Master of
Divinity. He is joyfully married to Cindy, and they have three adult
children and four grand children.
Fernandez was ordained to the
gospel ministry in 1981 by the
Central Florida Presbytery of the
PCA as a church planter among
Spanish speaking people in the
Tampa area. After several years of
laboring in Tampa, the
Shenandoah Presbyterian Church

evangelism. In 1987 the Bryce Avenue Presbyterian Church called him

He counts it a great privilege to minister God's Word and Sacrament in
